Hi to you
all, the Association has just come back from Belgium where we
had a great time, the Menin Gate was really something to see
and take part in, Calvert ( Goldie ) Peters laid the wreath on
behalf of the Association, Harry Jones, Murial Hearldon &
Terry Buxton also laid wreaths. Harry Jones also gave the
Exhortation on the night (Word perfect); Alex McGregor used
his D.I’s voice to bring the parade to Attention.
Our
attention now is on our next reunion to Mold (North Wales) to
the Beaufort Park Hotel on 7th Oct, 33 rooms
already gone, the price is right at £90 per person ,A deposit
of £30 when booking, please book now to avoid disappointment.
This year
is our 10th Anniversary and we are trying to get
Polo Shirts done with our logo on them depicting this, Pat
(Alex wife) is making enquiries about the shirts and I am in
contact with a company to do the embroidering.
I would
like to thank our committee also Chris Hayles (Web Master),
George wood (Purveyor of Association Goods) Ron & Betty
(Raffles)
And all
you hardy soles for the great work you all do to make the
Association what it is.
